Crypto Royale is a browser-based Battle Royale, where players compete for fame, glory and a little profit. The project received a Harmony Grant in 2021 and is growing rapidly. It currently has a community of more than 70,000 players. Crypto Royale has launched its own token Royale (ROY).

ROY

Royale (ROY) is a multi-chain token and the currency of Crypto Royale, a free-to-play browser-based game. The token max supply is 400M ROYs. The ROY token can be held in the game wallet or externally on any one of the supported blockchains (Harmony, Polygon, and soon Avalanche). It can also be staked, either at a fixed 20% APY or variable, through Skin Wars.

Crypto Royale is a browser-based Battle Royale where players compete for fame, glory and a little profit. It currently has a community of over 70.000 players. Every day, more than 1000 players gather on the battlefield as they fight to see who can survive and claim the game’s HRC-20 token – ROY. Players enter a battlefield where they must be ‘the last person standing’. Represented by moons, a player’s ‘character’ can be three colors (Yellow, Magenta, Cyan). The colors are interchangeable when collecting crates thrown onto the battlefield and should be used to secure a player’s strength over an opponent in an effort to outsmart, outsmart and outmaneuver other players to become the victor.

The game allows each player to adopt a style of their own, and often becomes an identifiable trait/signature of that player. Whatever the strategy of the player and opponents, there is a continual external force adding pressure to the gameplay – a closed circle. Venturing outdoors in the darkness causes a deterioration in health, but collectibles outside can, and often do, provide the weapons needed to claim victory. Positioning and timing are critical components to a player’s skill set.

How to play Crypto Royale (ROY)?

Crypto Royale uses a rock-paper-scissors format, where each color is strong or weak against any of the other two colors. Yellow can damage Cyan, which can damage Magenta, which in turn can damage Yellow. If two players are the same color, the one with the highest HP can damage the player with the least HP. Players who can damage you can be identified by the spikes on the edges of their avatars. Once any player hits 25 HP or less, they lose the ability to boost, as well as being just one hit away from death. This state is indicated by an exclamation point inside the avatar.

Each player starts with 100 HP, being able to gain more HP, in addition to changing the color of their avatar, picking up the colored pips scattered around the field. The glowing seeds will give you HP, but picking them up will also give you a lucky box that you can claim for a small ROY reward. If you kill another player, you will also receive a lucky box with their letter which is worth a much higher ROY reward. Use mouse cursor to move on desktop or finger to move on mobile and click or tap to spend 25% of your health on a speed boost. If you bump into a player who can deal damage, you will steal 50% of their HP for yourself. Of course, if they can harm you, you will lose 50% of your health to them. As the game progresses, The Darkness at the edges of the play area will start to invade the center. Any player in The Darkness will constantly lose HP until they return to the circle in the center.

Basic Game Rules

Collision rules

Cyan wins against Magenta and Magenta against Yellow and Yellow against Cyan. It completes a cycle like rock paper scissors. When the collision happens, the winning sphere will gain 50% of the losing sphere’s opponent’s life.

Colored Boxes

Colored boxes provide health (adds Hit Points) and change the color of the sphere to the color of the chosen box. Choosing the shiny boxes provides small amounts of crypto (ROY).

Movement 

On PC, the mouse pointer can be used to point the direction and clicking will increase the movement of the sphere in the direction of the mouse pointer. However, most players use the mouse pointer for direction and the to increase. A single boost will consume 25% of your Life Points (HP). When health drops below 25 HP, we cannot increase and it becomes a critical target. Therefore, it is important to build health.

• Training – Free and to practice against bots with low rewards.
• Ranked – Free and better rewards and for competing against other players.
• Low Stakes – Buy in games where you play with 1 ROY as a fee with higher rewards than ranked ones.
• High Stakes – Buy with 10 ROY as a game fee with much higher rewards.

There are also daily tournaments at 2:8, 14:20, 15:XNUMX and XNUMX:XNUMX UTC from Monday to Saturday. On Sunday, there will be a mega tournament at XNUMX:XNUMX UTC with different cryptocurrencies as rewards from sponsors or from the ROY itself. It is also known as COTW (Currency of the Week).
